Account Manager

Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who enjoys being a team player and has a can-do approach, with a strong work ethic and the ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.

The Account Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients, working closely with both new and existing customers to understand project goals and deliver tailored furniture solutions. This role bridges client relationships, project execution, and internal coordination—ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and a high level of service throughout the project lifecycle.

Account Managers are hands-on problem solvers who balance design intent, technical requirements, and client expectations, while proactively managing details from concept through installation.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who doesn’t just “manage accounts,” but owns them. This is a client-facing, detail-heavy role that requires equal parts relationship management, technical coordination, and follow-through. If you’re someone who spots problems before they happen and keeps things moving without being asked—you’ll do well here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with clients to define project scope, requirements, and furniture solutions
  • Develop specifications using CAP or similar specification software
  • Generate quotes, pricing, and discounting for projects
  • Verify field conditions and ensure accuracy of floorplans and measurements
  • Review order acknowledgements and confirm accuracy prior to execution
  • Coordinate and attend project meetings with clients and internal teams
  • Partner with installation teams and supervisors during project execution
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
  • Proactively manage project details, timelines, and communication
  • Navigate complex or high-pressure situations with professionalism and clarity

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design, furniture dealership, or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of contract furniture and industry standards
  • Proficiency in CAP or similar specification software
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environments
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate challenging situations

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Healthcare insurance available
  • Aflac Supplemental insurance
  • Paid company holidays, personal days, sick leave, and other time off from work
  • Generous Employee referral incentive
  • Annual bonus program
  • Professional development reimbursement
  • Company sponsored events (team building events)
  • Dog friendly environment
