In 1997, M3 Office opened with a simple idea — Customers should be at the center of our world and drive all of our decisions.

Our Founding Partners

M3 Office Inc. founders Patti Murphy and Terry McCarthy have worked together since 1978 and have been business partners since opening M3 Office together in 1997.

Terry and Patti had both been senior executives with a major furniture manufacturer, with experience at all levels of the business and with all sorts of clients. They felt they could take the corporate experience and apply it to their business to create something new — a firm that was able to provide extraordinary customer service with the discipline of a large company.

For Patti, the challenge — and the reward — is in figuring out the function of a job and then integrating the right product solution to create a workplace her clients like to come to.

Terry’s strengths are in developing people and their talents and growing a financially strong business. He is able to create thriving and loyal relationships with both his customers and his employees.

Our Company Today

In 2019, Shellee Ortega, Alisa Lansdale and Kevin McCarthy joined the leadership team as Directors and Owners of M3.

Shellee began her career in the furniture industry in 2000. With her background in Operations Management, Shellee's experience and hands on approach, allowed her to streamline and update M3’s processes and procedures since coming aboard in 2017. Shellee has a strong background in furniture distribution and manufacturing and her passion for customer service and operations shines through in everything she does.

Alisa has been in the contract furniture business since 1997 and joined M3's sales team in 2001. Alisa has been able to use her degree in Interior Design to help realize comprehensive workplace solutions for her clients. Her passion of getting people into new workspaces that they can enjoy and be proud of is what she thrives on.

As one of the original employees when M3 opened its doors in 1997, Kevin has worn many hats throughout his tenure. He thrives on being part of building the spaces for all of M3’s clients and to this day he will not leave a job site without every drawer aligned and every screw in place. His pride of ownership comes through with every M3 project.

With the addition of Shellee and Alisa to the ownership team, M3 was able to become certified as a woman owned business.
