Unflappable, Unforgettable, and Undeniably M3’s Superwoman
With over two decades of design expertise and enough energy to power a second career, Kari Wong brings calm professionalism, an eye for detail, and genuine heart to everything she does at M3.
This month’s Employee Spotlight shines on Kari Wong, M3’s Senior Designer—and the person her colleagues simply call “Superwoman.” Kari has spent over 24 years in the industry, moving through roles from designer to account manager before finding her way back to her true passion: design. She joined M3 in 2015, and in the years since, she’s built a reputation for helping clients bring their vision to life with a confidence and professionalism that sets the tone for everyone around her.
What makes Kari remarkable isn’t just the depth of her experience—it’s how consistently she shows up. Reliable, detail-oriented, and legendary for a memory that doesn’t miss a thing, she brings a calm, unflappable energy that has a way of steadying the room. The nickname “Superwoman” wasn’t handed to her—it was earned.
Her colleagues say it best. “In short, she is a rockstar,” says Mike, a fellow team member. Senior Designer Hilary Mays adds her own tribute: “I want to be like Kari when I grow up.” It’s the kind of thing people say about someone who leads not by title, but by example—day after day, project after project.
After a full day at M3, Kari often says she’s heading off to her second job—and she’s not entirely wrong. She and her husband of 26 years (college sweethearts) are the proud parents of three: their oldest has graduated and is working in healthcare, their middle child is in his third year of college on the East Coast, and their youngest is a freshman in high school. When she’s not at the drafting table or on family duty, you’ll find Kari baking, volunteering at a nonprofit, supporting school and scout events, or coaching the community’s middle school Science Olympiad team. M3 is very lucky to have Kari Wong on the team.
